F.A.Q.

What is fondant?

A melt is a block of wax, without a wick, which contains a fragrance. In order to diffuse the perfume it contains, simply melt it using a Incense burner (also commonly called a burner) and a tea light.

What is the difference between a scented candle and a scented fondant?

A scented fondant contains several properties that allow it to be distinguished from a scented candle.

First of all, it differs in its diffusion speed. A fondant diffuses its scent much more quickly unlike a scented candle. In fact, the scented candle must wait for its surface to liquefy to reach its full potential.

Secondly, it stands out because of its intensity. A fondant is ideal for spacious spaces because it is more intense than a scented candle. As the flux is not in direct contact with the flame, this allows the fragrance to release its full potential.

Does the wax from fondant evaporate?

No, unlike a candle, the wax from the fondant does not evaporate. The life of the fondant ends when it no longer gives off an odor. Disposing of the wax is safe because it is biodegradable.

When should I change fondant?

The average diffusion time for a fondant is half a day. It may take longer for some fondants.

Melts can generally be used 3 or more times depending on the fragrance they contain. Once the smell is gone you can get rid of the remaining wax.

The best is to get rid of it while it is still in its liquid form by removing the excess with a paper towel.

How long does the diffusion of scented fondant last? A: How long scented fondant lasts depends on several factors, such as the size of the fondant and the heat of the burner. In general, a fondant can release its scent for about 8 to 10 hours. You can extend its duration by using fondant intermittently.

How can I store my scented fondants when not in use? A: It is best to store your scented fondants in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. You can keep them in their original packaging or place them in an airtight container to preserve their scent.

Can scented fondants be used in larger spaces? A: Yes, scented fondants can be used in larger spaces. For more efficient diffusion, you can use multiple burners in different parts of the room or opt for larger scented melts that have greater diffusion power.

Are scented fondants safe for pets? A: Although scented fondants are generally safe to use, it is recommended that you review the specific instructions and take precautions if you have pets who are sensitive to scents. Some scents may be stronger and may require adequate ventilation in the room where they are used.

How do I change the flavored fondant in my burner? A: To change scented melts, wait until the wax has cooled and hardened. Then you can easily remove it from the burner by gently sliding it with your fingers or using a small spatula. Clean the burner with a soft cloth before placing new fondant.

Can scented fondants be used without a burner? A: Yes, there are alternatives to using scented fondants without a burner. You can place them in fabric bags and store them in drawers, cupboards or storage spaces to delicately scent your clothes or enclosed spaces.

How can I adjust the intensity of the scent in the room? A: To adjust the intensity of the scent, you can use fewer melts or reduce the diffusion time. If you prefer a gentler diffusion, you can also add a few drops of water to the burner before placing the fondant.

Can I mix different fondants to create new fragrances? A: Absolutely! You can experiment by mixing different fondants to create unique flavor combinations. This will allow you to personalize the aroma according to your preferences and discover new olfactory sensations.

Can scented fondants be used in any type of burner? A: In general, scented melts can be used in most burners designed specifically for this type of product. Make sure the burner is suitable for use with scented fondants and follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe and optimal use.

Can I reuse flavored fondant multiple times? A: Scented fondants are generally designed to be used until the scent completely dissipates. Once the scent is used up, it is best to replace the fondant with a new one to continue enjoying an optimal scent experience.

Why can my scented fondants have white spots? A: White spots on our scented melts are completely normal and simply indicate the use of natural vegetable wax. This does not affect the quality or performance of the product.

They create superior quality fragrances without CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic), phthalates or any other harmful substances. You can enjoy our fondants with complete peace of mind.

What are the tips for cleaning my fondant burner? A: An effective tip is to place the burner in the refrigerator for about ten minutes, then take it out and carefully unclip the fondant using a spoon or knife. You can also use unscented wet wipes to wipe down the inside of the burner.
